Frequently Asked Questions

We understand lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit.

What is Recovered Life?

Recovered Life is a modern recovery community, media network, and movement designed to help you live your best recovered life.

We bring people together through daily live shows, weekly masterminds, expert conversations, courses, and supportive community spaces where recovery feels empowering—not isolating.

It’s a place to connect, learn, grow, and stay grounded in your sobriety while building a life that actually works. Whether you’re new to recovery or decades in, Recovered Life gives you the tools, community, and clarity to move forward.

Who is Recovered Life for?

Recovered Life is for anyone who wants to grow, heal, and live more fully—whether they're in recovery from addiction, codependency, or any process addiction, or simply focused on improving their mental and emotional wellbeing.

Our community welcomes all paths, all backgrounds, and all levels of experience.
Whether you're brand-new to recovery, many years sober, or simply committed to personal growth, you’ll find tools, conversations, and support that empower you to move forward in your life.

Recovered Life is a place for people who want more than just sobriety—they want clarity, connection, and a community that helps them thrive.

Is this a religious group or tied to a 12-step program?

No. Recovered Life is not a religious organization and is not affiliated with any 12-step program.

Many of our members choose to participate in 12-step groups, therapy, spiritual practices, or other recovery modalities—but none of these are required. We honor all paths and recognize that people find healing in different ways.

Recovered Life believes in the power of abstinence as a strong foundation for long-term recovery, and we support a wide range of tools, perspectives, and practices that help people stay grounded and grow.

Our community is non-dogmatic, inclusive, and fully respectful of each individual’s journey—whatever that looks like for you.

Can I participate if I’m on MAT, psychiatric medication, or early in my recovery?

Yes. You are welcome here.

Recovered Life is a judgment-free, peer-support community built on honesty, compassion, and real-world recovery.

We understand that people heal in different ways, and we fully support individuals who are:

🟣 on MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment)

🟣 taking psychiatric or mental health medications

🟣 in early recovery

🟣 working toward abstinence

🟣 returning to recovery after a setback

🟣 have long term sobriety

You do not need to be perfect to join us—just willing to particpate.

If you’re taking steps toward getting sober, stabilizing your mental health, or building a healthier life, you’re in the right place.

Recovered Life is here to support your journey, not judge it.

Is this therapy, medical advice, or a replacement for professional treatment?

No. Recovered Life is not therapy or medical treatment, and nothing we offer should be used as a substitute for professional care.

Our content, meetings, shows, and community spaces are designed for peer support, encouragement, and personal growth—not clinical services. Many of our members also work with therapists, doctors, or treatment programs, and we fully support that.

Recovered Life is a place to find clarity, connection, and practical tools, not licensed medical or mental health advice. Always consult qualified professionals for any medical or therapeutic needs.

Is Recovered Life a public or private community?

Recovered Life is a private, members-only space created to feel calmer, safer, and more supportive than large public recovery groups.

Many people tell us they join Recovered Life because public forums can feel overwhelming—too much intensity, too much drama, too many personalities, and not enough boundaries. Recovery shouldn’t feel like that. It should feel grounding, steady, and good for your nervous system.

Recovered Life is intentionally designed as a gentler environment, where:

🟣 the space is moderated

🟣 the content is lightly curated so you’re not flooded with noise

🟣 conversations stay respectful

🟣 cliques, chaos, and predatory behavior are not tolerated

🟣 your experience actually supports your emotional wellbeing

And yes—if someone isn’t aligned with our values or is creating a disruptive or unsafe environment, we reserve the right to ask them to leave. Maintaining the integrity of the space matters, and our members trust us to protect it.

Inside the Recovered Life community, you’ll find:

🟣 exclusive content and interviews

🟣 courses and deeper learning

🟣 special events and masterminds

🟣 private peer-support gatherings

🟣 a social community where real friendships form

🟣 a free tier that lets you explore the main community safely

Some members quietly watch exclusive content.
Some take courses.

Some join special events or private circles.
Some just socialize and build their inner circle of sober, supportive friends.

You get to participate in the way that feels right for your journey.

Recovered Life is a private sanctuary for people who want depth, clarity, connection, and a recovery experience that supports—not overwhelms—their nervous system.

Can family members, partners, or allies join?

Yes. Family members, partners, and allies are welcome at Recovered Life. Recovery affects the entire family system, and we create content, courses, and special events that support everyone—including the people who walk alongside someone in recovery.

Many allies join to better understand addiction, work on codependency or boundaries, or support someone they love in a healthier way. Others join for their own emotional wellness, personal growth, or to take part in our curated community spaces.

At the same time, we honor the safety and needs of specific groups within the community. This means:

Everyone participates for their own growth, not to monitor someone else

Allies must respect the privacy and emotional safety of people in recovery

Some select peer-support meetings and circles are closed and reserved for certain groups (for example, people in active recovery, long-term sobriety, or specific lived experiences)

If someone becomes disruptive or misaligned with community values, we may step in or remove access

Recovered Life is a gentle, private space where people in recovery—and the people who love them—can grow, heal, and build healthier lives.

Is Recovered Life free?

Yes and no. Certain parts of Recovered Life are completely free, and always will be.

Our mission is to help people live their best recovered lives, and we want everyone—no matter their financial situation—to have access to supportive community spaces, helpful content, and a place to feel connected.

At the same time, Recovered Life is a for-profit, mission-driven venture, and we believe there is nothing wrong with charging for value. When we create powerful content, life-changing e-courses, transformational events, and a high-quality private community, we’re offering something that takes real time, expertise, and resources to build.

We stand behind the idea that:

🟣 value deserves to be valued

🟣 good work should be supported

🟣 great content and community lift people up

🟣 a strong business allows us to help more people

Our free tier lets anyone start their journey inside Recovered Life.
Our paid memberships give you deeper access—premium content, courses, special events, private circles, and higher-touch community experiences.

We are mission-led, but we are also unapologetically committed to creating value, building a sustainable business, and expanding how many people we can help.

The more value we create, the more people we empower.

That’s what drives us.
