My Thoughts

We are creatures of imitation. We are plagiarists by nature. As children we learn by repeating what we hear and see. I liked to hang out with people who drank and drugged like I did. In recovery, I prefer to be with people who have the kind of lives I want to have: purposeful lives of abundance, of joy, of love.

Action for the Week

Help me today, Higher Power, to find and to stick with the kind of people I want to be like - people whose lives I admire and want to emulate.
