I would also add that in my personal opinion , the conversations about having “ PTSD” have largely been too heavily focused on who is actually morally “ entitled “ to sufficient financial, organizational and emotional support. Not only combat soldiers are morally entitled to sufficient resources and treatment. Women subjected to domestic violence and addicts deserve sufficient resources and treatment as well. ❤️🪴🪷🌺
Hannah is wonderful! I love that she brought up mindbody and attuning to what is happening within. One of my (many) required books to read for my certifications was "The Body Keeps the Score" ... dives deep into bodymind / mindbody and trauma. I look forward to the aftershow. Thank you for bringing this to us!
Hannah explained these links between past and present in a way that I could hear it without feeling attacked or diminished and, thus, I benefited greatly from the information. Thank you 🌺🪷🌷
I am only half way through and loving this. I relate so much to once I got into a loving, safe environment ... floods of trauma memories came back because I was safe to begin to face them ... which is when I was able to do EMDR etc...
